Steal her style Shailene Woodley

This talented actress has been dubbed the most popular female of 2018. this may feel very early to make that list but it is easy to see why she is so popular. This fabulous actress was nominated for an Emmy last year for Jane in Big Little Lies. This show has made her even more loved by her fans who adore her laid back beach babe vibe. Enough about Shailene’s work let’s check out her style so we can steal it.

High bun for the high life

This suits Shailene’s personality perfectly. She clearly loves living the high life and who wouldn’t be having a spa bath right by the sea. She isn’t overly posy like many of our Instagram loving celebs but is far more chilled and embraces her fabulous life instead. What better way to do this than with a perfect messy look high bun. This style works best on second-day hair (yay) so if you are having a lazy weekend or in a rush, this is one to try. I love this look because it looks super full and glamorous so if you are feeling like your hair is a little on the lacklustre side put in your extensions. Now finger comb your hair and gather it into a ponytail on top of your head. Secure this with two hair ties for extra height and security. Twist your ponytail to the ends and then wind it around the base of your ponytail to form your bun shape and secure with another hair tie. To make this more relaxed pull out some small strands of hair framing your face and tug on the hair that is lying flat on your head so it has more volume before you tug on your bun to finish. If you are going to out with this look add some hairspray to hold.

Textured low ponytail

This style looked so hot at the Emmy awards she may have been severely jet-lagged having just flown in from New Zealand but you would never be able to tell. To get this gorgeous hairstyle second-day hair is once again perfect, particularly if you have slept with dry shampoo in your hair. In the morning finger comb your hair so it is not knotty but still have that bed head vibe and sections you hair like you did in the previous look to add your mousse from hairline to crown. Now that your mousse in massaged in you want to grab your texture spray and spritz that all through the lower third of your hair so that it can stay as full as possible. Gather your hair in line with your earlobes and form a ponytail. Pull out some strands framing your face and around your ears and add a bit more texture spray to your ponytail so it is laying the way you want. Take a small section of hair from underneath your ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie to conceal it and pin it underneath. Finish with hairspray to hold.
