Steal her style: Emily Blunt Edition

From The Devil Wears Prada to Mary Poppins Returns Emily Blunt is an amazing actress and a classic beauty. She is often quite naturally and low key in her everyday appearance but can turn up the heat at special events like the Emmys and Golden Globes. If you are a fan of her you will appreciate how timeless her style is.

That is great for us too because it means even if we are looking at styles off hers from a few years ago it will still be on trend. Let’s check out some of her hottest styes from Instagram and steal her styles Don’t forget to #wearcliphair to show off your Emily Blunt inspired looks.

The fancy milkmaid

I love this Milkmaid braid style that Emily was rocking at the 12th Annual Freeing Voices Changing Lives Benefit Gala in New York on the 9th ofJuly. Milkmaid braids are often just worn on a weekend to a casual brunch but they can look so stunning and can absolutely make a nice dress look high class and gala ready. If you have multi toned hair, either for dye or adding multi tone hair extensions, this is a must.

It allows you to show off all of the tones in the best way possible and makes your look so much more interesting. Pull so face framing strands out and it will look stunning.

Vanity Fair 2018

I am so in love with this picture this Vanity Fair picture that was taken earlier this year. It is a version of a classic side parted chignon but it is ‘messy’ and most of her hair, and a few hair extensions I suspect, is at her crown rather than in the tight bun at the nape of her neck. This undone chignon is very fashion forward and modern but it is perfect to wear to work or on a night out.

The wavy bob

Yet another celebrity jumping on the wavy blunt bob style (excuse the blunt pun). Who can blame them it doesn’t matter what face shape you have it seems like this haircut will suit everyone. Emily is a big fan of her side parts so it is no surprise that she has not gone for a centre part like everyone else. It adds extra height and it definitely gives you of a more ‘on holiday’ beachy vibe.

Accessories are key

When in doubt always have a few accessories available to call on to make your look fantastic. It doesn’t have to be anything too flamboynt or that costs £100 but it does have to be something that adds that magical quality to your style. It this this gemmed headband is the perfect example. Ok, this one may have cost more than £100 but you will be able to find a similar one easily. The simple twist updo hairstyle is made into something perfect to hit the red carpet with a little bit of bling. The perfect transformation.
