The best of the Oscars 2019

Olivia Coleman

If you haven’t seen Olivia Coleman’s hilarious acceptance speech, you have to, it will have you in stitches. It was almost as good as her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite. She was quite daring in her outfit to the Oscars. Some of you will love it and some of you will hate it but one thing is for sure, it is 100% her. The pixie haircut is not something that is seen everywhere but it is great if you have the face shape and personality to pull it off. The trick is to make sure you have long enough hair that you can still attach your Cliphair extension to for when you want longer hair.

Regina King

Regina King is the queen of supporting actresses this year for her role as Sharon Rivers in If Beale Street could talk. She looks great with her white, silver and diamond colour palette that is both strong and allows her to show of her Oscar amazingly. She has not gone too fancy with her hairstyle either. I am loving her centre parted bob with gorgeous waves. There is so much texture and gorgeous volume in this look, it is easy to see why it is so on trend at the moment. This outfit and hairstyle are not overly fussy, it is understated and quite laid back for an Oscars out, I think it suits Regina perfectly.

Amy Adams

Amy Adams looks every bit the Hollywood goddess with this look. The long silver gown, large necklace and diamond earrings. This hairstyle is a modern version of old Hollywood. She still has her hair beautifully styled and draped over your shoulder. She doesn’t have large ringlets like the old school Hollywood diva but some large, perfectly formed waves. The perfect day to night look for us mere mortals.

Emma Stone

The Favourite’s Emma Stone was one of the most stunning dressed actresses on the night. She may not have won the award for best-supporting actress for her role as Abigail Marsham. Her burgundy patterned dress is the perfect partner for her (currently) cherry red locks pulled back into a neat chignon. This is great if you want something that makes a statement but also perfect for a classy event. With a bolder colour goes for a more subtle style. If you want to have only hints of cherry try using your Cliphair extensions. This will give you that colour punch and without having to commit to it full time.

Rachel Weiz

Another Favourite favourite. Rachel is a brit that was nominated for best-supporting actress this year. Although she didn’t win the award she looks every bit the winner in her eye-catching red dress. This stunning hairstyle is the best example of less is more. If you have a brighter dress and you want that to be the star of the show they have a more subtle hairstyle like this sleek straight hairstyle. Straight hair does not need to be boring. Having a centre part and adding a gorgeous hair accessory like this one definitely makes it head turning, just make sure that you tease your crown area for extra volume.
