Steal her style Ashley Roberts Strictly come dancing looks
American singer Ashley Roberts was previously known to us as a member of the girl group Pussycat Dolls. She is putting away her feather bower and donned her ballroom slippers this year in Strictly Come Dancing. She has had her ups and downs on the show but she has impressed the judges with her dancing and impressed me with her hairstyle. Today we are going to have a look at her best looks from the show so we can steal her style. Don’t forget to #wearcliphair.
Ashley’s 80’s inspired locks
This style has been a big hit this year. It is great to show off your volume and brings the 80’s into 2018. This is easy to do without heat but you will need to have a bit of time the evening before to get the style you want. When you are styling it make sure you curl your extensions as well, you will want them to help you get all the volume you can.
I think the style looks great particularly with shoulder length or mid length hair. If you have long hair and really want to make a statement try this lookout, just make sure you leave a bit of extra time as the curls will take longer to form.
A big tip to give your hair that extra height is to give your roots a little bit of oomph with some dry shampoo and teasing your roots before putting your hair extensions in. If you are thinking of doing dancing like Ashley make sure that you aren’t shy about applying your hairspray.
Sophisticated messy do
This style is a mixture of high style beauty and a laid-back look. It may look casual but she has pulled her hair on top of her head and created a lovely style. It has a really nice knotted look. If all her hair was pulled back into this style then it would look very fancy.
But Ashley has made it look a bit more casual by pulling the strand of hair out to make it seem more her and casual. If you are planning to do the same why not copy Ashley and straighten these sections so that they contrast with the flowing voluminous bun. Perfect for a weekend look, or even a date night style.
I am loving this workout look. It may not be a cutting-edge look but it looks good. It is perfect if you are moving around a lot. If you really want to make your hair look the best it can you will really need to make this style in front of a mirror. Some people find it easier to do with wet hair but if you have thicker or curly hair I would recommend.
Creating this look with dry hair to avoid knotting. Make sure you have a comb like a fishtail comb to make sure you are dividing each section with precision.
