Check out Maisie Williams’ new post Game of Thrones style
“I wasn’t playing. And I don’t want to be a lady.” this may be the case for Arya Stark but Maisie Williams loves to show off her fashionable feminine style. Arya was a little rough around the edges when it comes to hair trends (and cleanliness) but I guess that’s what happens when you are killing bad guys. Today I am going to show your Maisie’s new hairstyle and how you can achieve it too in a step by step tutorial. Don’t forget to #wearcliphair to show your new style off.
I am going to assume that you all already have your Cliphair extensions in, if now brush your locks, put them in, then blend. Now that your locks are full it is time to look at your hair condition. You want your locks to be dry and if you are working with second-day hair you will probably want to add some dry shampoo to your locks to add more life.
This is for those of us that do not have tamed naturally curly hair. Add some heat protecting serum to your hair and grab your curling iron. Divide your hair in half ad break that into one-inch areas. Start just behind your ear and curl your hair away from your face, release into your hand, hold for a few moments, then let it drop. For the rest of your hair, you are going to do the same thing but alternate the direction you curl your hair. Once all of your hair is curled comb it gently with a wide tooth comb to separate the curls and make them look more natural.
Creating your Faux Bob
so many of us have long hair or layers and want to try Maisie’s look for a day not permanently so this is a great way to shorten longer locks. Make sure you have loads of bobby pins ready, you will need them. Clip the top half of your hair out of the way for now. Add a hair tie around the bottom part, but not at the nape of your neck. Wiggle your hair tie down to where you want he end of your bob to be. Now roll the end of your curls up so that the sit behind the hair tie but don’t loose the volume. Spread the hair so it looks natural along the back of your neck. Release the top layer of hair. You are going to be working with 3 inch sections. Roll the section up until it is the same length as the back part and pin it into the rest of your hair. Once you have done that all over you want to make sure there are a few curls left loose at the front to make it look natural and loosen the rest of the bob a little.
Clip in fringes are super easy to put in and blend. The top clip should roughly sit halfway back for a brow-grazing fringe, don’t forget to curl the side bits so that they blend with the rest of your bob and hairspray your whole look to finish.
